Catfish is a type of freshwater fish that has properties and benefits for health because of its abundant protein and omega 3 content. The relatively easy cultivation of catfish makes the people of Sigumuru Village, especially the fish farmer group (Pokdakan) "Sigumuru Jaya" interested in cultivating catfish. The problem that occurs is that their income from selling catfish in the market is very minimal. So it is necessary to make efforts to increase their income. One effort that can be made to increase their income is through processing catfish into processed foods such as catfish floss. However, due to their lack of skills and knowledge about making catfish floss and marketing it, the PKM team offers a solution to implementing this PKM activity. The aim is to develop the knowledge and skills of catfish farmers in Sigumuru Village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province in processing catfish into floss and marketing it. The methods used to solve partner problems are socialization, demonstration, marketing and monitoring. The results of this PKM activity show an increase in the output of partner empowerment of 77.5% -90%, where the increase in partner knowledge, increase in partner skills, increase in partner product quality and increase in the number of partner products by 85%. The increase in the number of partner turnover by 77.5%, the increase in the type of partner products by 82.5% and the increase in partner income by 90%. The average increase in the output of partner empowerment obtained through this PKM activity is 84.29%.
Rizky Febriani PohanWirna ArifitrianaAlvi Sahrin NasutionMuhammad Rahman Rambe

2024-11-182024-11-18111123Penggunaan Polyacrylamide Terintegrasi Kompos Pelepah Salak Terhadap sifat Fisika Tanah Sebagai Penahan Erosi Lereng
https://jurnal.ugn.ac.id/index.php/prosidingsinergi/article/view/1479

Salak plants are superior plants in the Padangsidimpuan and South Tapanuli regions.Sidimpuan salak plants have different morphology from salak plants from areas outside Padangsidimpuan. The sturdy stem and wider fronds can prevent rainfall to the surface of the soil so that this plant can withstand erosion and act as a conservation plant. Research on the integrated use of salak frond compost aims to test erosion on slopes and determine the effect on several soil properties on salak land. The method used is an experiment using a factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 treatment factors and 3 replications, there are 12 treatment combinations and 36 experimental units. Factor 1: Polyacrylamide Dose. M0 = Control, M1 = 30 g / plant, M2 = 60 g / plant, M3 = 90 g / plant. Factor 2: Salak Sidimpuan leaf stalk compost, K0 = compost of chopped salak leaf stalks (control) K1 = compost of chopped salak leaf stalks + cow manure, K2 = compost of chopped salak leaf stalks + cow manure + polyacrylamide. The erosion rate was calculated using the USLE method. The results showed that the effect of using Polyacrylamide and salak frond compost had a significant effect on soil BV (gcm-3), Soil Water Content (%), sand (%), dust (%), and the lowest erosion was 6.8 tons/ha/yr, namely in the combination of M3K2 treatments (Polyacrylamide 90 g Compost frond + manure + PAM). Thus the erosion rate is lower than the erosion tolerance

Yusriani NasutionRizky AmnahMelliana FriskaRafika Amanda

https://jurnal.ugn.ac.id/index.php/prosidingsinergi/article/view/1480

Mathematics is a basic science for the development of technology today because it playsan important role in various disciplines of science and improves human thought patterns. Bystudying mathematics, mathematical, logical, critical and creative thinking can be developed. InBasic Mathematics learning, the delivery of material is done through lectures and groupdiscussions so that it influences students' creativity and has an impact on student learningoutcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) modelon Basic Mathematics learning outcomes, the effectiveness and the extent of the increase inBasic Mathematics learning outcomes of students in the Civil Engineering Study Program,Faculty of Engineering, Graha Nusantara University after the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Basic Mathematics courses. The research method used is quasiexperimental with a 2x2 factorial design. The subjects of the study were 40 students of the CivilEngineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Graha Nusantara University. Based on theresults of the study, it was found that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has asignificant influence on the Basic Mathematics learning outcomes of students in the CivilEngineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Graha Nusantara University. The learningoutcomes of the experimental group's Basic Mathematics increased by 58.15% using the PBLlearning model, while the learning outcomes of the control group's Basic Mathematics increasedby 50.76% using the conventional learning model. The results of this study also show that thePBL learning model has an effectiveness percentage of 22.39% to improve students' BasicMathematics learning outcomes. So the PBL learning model is very suitable and effective foruse in Higher Education.
Wirna ArifitrianaRizky Febriani PohanMuhammad Rahman Rambe

https://jurnal.ugn.ac.id/index.php/prosidingsinergi/article/view/1487

Batu Bara Regency is an area included in the 3T region, has great potential in agriculture and animal husbandry that has not been optimally explored. The target partner groups of the Benlos Farmer Group and the Bandot Super Livestock Group are livestock groups and partner farmer groups that are economically productive. The purpose of the study was to provide cassava waste silage technology with indigenous cellulolytic microbe additives and complete ration composition with cocoa pod UMB supplementation in Batubara Regency. The research method was to see the effect of the implementation of cassava waste silage on behavioral stress in transportation, Daily Body Weight Gain (PBBH), Total Bacterial Colonies and Protozoa Populations, and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), with 20 sheep and goats, using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) 4 Treatments with 5 replications in vivo. The results of the study were obtained with the best daily body weight gain (P> 0.05) in treatment D of 71.23 gr / head / day, IOFC treatment D reached Rp. 3.171, - / head / day. The best treatment D on total bacteria was 4.53x109, protozoa population was 35.85x106. Stress of goat behavior during transportation was reduced with UMB Cocoa Pod supplementation so that nutrition was sufficient during the trip. The conclusion of the study was an increase in body weight gain and mitigation of livestock stress during transportation in Batubara Regency.
Angelia Utari HarahapYunilasElimasniZakiyah NasutionNovita AswanToga MahajiSyafiruddinYusra FadhillahMhd Aidil Huda JMuhammad Husein
