Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to reduce problems in waste management with the formation of a Waste Bank in Pahlawan Village which in the end is expected to be an alternative solution to existing problems, so that later it will also be able to increase village community income and village original income, making  an independent and tough village. The results achieved from this activity are the formation of village regulations regarding the formation of a Waste Bank in Pahlawan Village, the formation of a village business entity regarding the Waste Bank, increasing the understanding of the Hero Village community in processing recycled waste through the Waste Bank, increasing the knowledge of Waste Bank managers in implementing the accounting cycle in Waste Bank.The method used  from 1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) mentoring in the formation of Village Regulations regarding the Hero Village Waste Bank, 2) training for the Village Government and Heroes Village Waste Bank Managers, 3) socialization to village communities about waste management through the Village Waste Bank. Finally, an evaluation was carried out by giving questionnaires and placing students for village internship programs in the context of mentoring as well as mapping the potential and problems that arise as well as solutions and alternatives.
