Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to find the extent of differences in the history of student learning outcomes at SMA Rohman Insan Panobasan using the Problem Based Learning Learning and Jigsaw. This research was using the comparative method which is to see the comparison of the two variables. As the population in this study, all students in SMA Rohman Insan Panobasan were 66 students consisting of 2 classes with details of 1 science class and 1 social science class. From theĀ  population the authors set the sample in this study using a total sampling technique, which sets a sample of the entire population. So the sample chosen in this study is all class XI, amounting to 66 people. To obtain research data, the authors use two techniques, namely: 1. Descriptive analysis (to see an overview of the two variables), and 2. Statistical analysis (to test the hypotheses formulated in this study). The statistical analysis formula used by researchers is the "t" test:

Based on the calculation of differences in historical learning outcomes using the jigsaw and based learning, a coefficient of 11.21 is obtained. Then with a df of 2 at a significant level of 5%, a t table of 2.00 is found. Since it is because the value of to> t table is 11.21> 2.00, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a difference between the results of learning history by using the jigsaw method with the method of Based Learning in SMA Rohman Insan Panobasan.
