Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the rate of inflation in Padangsidimpuan City. This research is descriptive quantitative using secondary. The population and sample of this study are data from the Central Statistics Agency of Padangsidimpuan City. There are data collection techniques used, namely statistical and observational data. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysisThe Consumer Price Index has a negative effect on the Inflation Rate in Padangsidimpuan City for the 2009-2019 period. This means that according to the theory which states that the Inflation Rate will decrease along with the increase in the Consumer Price Index. The Indonesian Interest Rate has a positive effect on the Inflation Rate in Padangsidimpuan City for the 2008-2019 period. This shows that the Indonesian Interest Rate is able to encourage economic growth in Padangsidimpuan City. The Regional Minimum Wage has no effect on the Inflation Rate in Padangsidimpuan City for the 2008-2019 period.Keywords: Padangsidimpuan City Inflation Rate
