Currently, Indonesia continues to strive for increasing national development so that the pace of regional development and rural and urban development is more balanced and harmonious. Regional development and village development which are part of national development have the aim of increasing the capacity of local governments in providing services to the community. The village government is believed to be better able to see the priority needs of the community than the district government which actually has a wider scope of problems. The implementation of rural areas must be in accordance with the problems faced, their potential, community aspirations and rural development priorities. Based on this brief description, it can be seen that the purpose of this research is to find out how the impact of the existence of the Village Fund on community economic improvement. This study uses a qualitative method, namely a method with a research process that is more artistic in nature and research data is more related to the interpretation of the data found in the field.The data collection technique used in this study was observation and semi-structured interviews with informants. Furthermore, the informants in this study were the Portibi sub-district head, the village head and the head of the Sitopoyan Village BPD and the community. Where the data analysis method uses a qualitative analysis of the Miles and Huberman model, namely data analysis that includes data reduction activities, data display / data presentation, and conclusions / conclusions.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Regulations issued by the Government of Indonesia contained in Law Number 6 of 2014 teach Sitopoyan Village to be independent and are given the opportunity and authority to advance their village. The development of transportation access to strategic locations of the village economy has stimulated the rate of economic growth of rural communities. Likewise, irrigation canals are a source of water supply for village agricultural land. With the use of village funds that have been implemented effectively and on target, it has increased the income of the people of Sitopoyan Village. The existence of the Village Fund has increased the family income of the Sitopoyan Village community by 14%. This makes it easier for the village community to fulfill the needs of each family.Keywords:Village Fund, Village Community Economic Improvement
