Abstract

The agricultural sector plays a significant role in economic activities in Indonesia. Agricultural development is an integral part of national development, due to the vision and mission of national development. One of them is the policy in developing agribusiness. Development in the plantation sector is directed to further accelerate the rate of production growth from large plantations, private and state plantations. One of the plantation crops that plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially the plantation subsector, is oil palm. The development of oil palm, among others, provides benefits in increasing the income of farmers and the community, providing raw materials for the processing industry that creates added value domestically and CPO exports that generate foreign exchange. Based on this, this study aims to analyze the Income of Oil Palm Farming in Dalan Lidang Village, Linggabayu District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The data analysis used to answer the research objectives is quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of research that has been conducted in Dalan Lidang Village, it can be concluded that the amount of income received by oil palm farmers in the research area is on average Rp. 99,695,457.61/farmer/year. With an average total production cost of Rp 25,539,542.39 Farmers/year and an average total income of Rp 125,235,000.00/farmer/year. While the average income per hectare is Rp 25,761,100.16 /ha/year with a total production cost of Rp 6,599. 364.96 /ha/year with an income of Rp 32,360,465.12/ha/year..
