Pengaruh Kompos Tithonia (Tithonia diversifolia) dan Kotoran Ayam Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Bawang Merah (Allium ascolonicum)
Abstract
The research aims to determine the effect of compostithonia (Tithonia diversifolia) and chicken manure on the growth and production of Red Onion. The research method used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 replications so that there were 27 treatment combinations consisting of two factors, namely: 1. Tithonia compost factor, T1=Tithonia compost: 10 tonnes/ha: 1kg/plot, T2=Tithonia compost: 20 tonnes/ha : 2kg/plot, T3=Tithonia Compost: 30 tonnes/ha : 3kg/plot. 2. Chicken manure factor, P1=Chicken manure: 10 tonnes/ha : 1kg/plot, P2=Chicken manure: 20 tonnes/ha : 2 kg/plot, P3=Chicken manure: 30 tonnes/ha : 3kg/plot. The parameters observed were: height, number of leaves, number of tubers, wet weight of tubers, dry weight of tubers, water content of the research soil. Based on research, the effect of Tithonia compost (Tithonia diversifolia) on the growth of Red Onion (Allium ascolonicum) production has a significant effect on height, number of leaves, number of tubers, wet weight and dry weight, but the research has no significant effect on soil water content. The interaction between Tithonia compost and chicken manure had a significant effect on height, number of leaves, number of tubers, wet weight and dry weight. The best treatment is: T2P3 (2kg Tithonia compost/plot with 3kg chicken manure/plot) which affects the number of leaves, number of bulbs, wet weight and dry weight of Red Onion plants, T1P3 (1kg Tithonia compost/plot with 3kg chicken manure/plot) effect on the number of leaves and number of bulbs of Red Onion plants, T2P1 (2kg tithonia compost/plot with 2kg chicken manure/plot) has an effect on the water content of the research soil
