<p>Jurnal Cermatika means pedagogy or the science of learning, so Jurnal Cermatika is defined as mathematics learning. The presence of mathematics journals is expected to increase the publications in the field of mathematics learning in order to discuss mathematics issues such as students’ perception of mathematics as a difficult subject.</p> <p>Jurnal Cermatika is a periodical academic journal that is published by the Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Graha Nusantara. This Journal is published twice a year <strong>(April and October)</strong>.</p> <p>This journal was established on April 20, 2021, and published its first edition in April 2021. <p><em>This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The sample in this study was class VII (A and B) at Panusunan Achir Hasibuan Private MTs, totaling 40 students. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative learning model on Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in the Spss Statistics 22 program with a significance level of 5% and n=20 which is then compared against the r table to obtain a value of 0.444. rcount > rtable, namely (0.56 > 0.444) for the pretest and (0.528 > 0.444) for the posttest. The pretest results mean the experimental class and control class were 60.95 and 61.8 respectively. For the posttest results, the average score for the experimental class was 91.90 and the control class was 79.95. The pretest and posttest normality tests for the experimental class and control class have a sig > 0.05 and the homogeneity test has a sig > 0.05, so the experimental class and control class have homogeneous data conditions. For hypothesis testing, a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. <p><em>This research aims to determine the direct influence of the Inquiry Learning learning model to improve Mathematics learning outcomes for class VII Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is classroom action research using two cycles carried out in the second semester with material about lines and angles. The population in this study was 29 class VII students at the Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School. The class used as a sample is class VII-I of the Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School which will use the Inquiry Learning method assisted by student worksheets (LKS) in learning. The ability of students' learning outcomes in mathematics learning in class VII-I of the Al-Yusufiah Huta Holbung Islamic Boarding School on lines and angles in the first cycle increased by 55% with the "sufficient" category, then in the second cycle it increased to 86.21% with the "good" category. ”. <p><em>This study aims to see whether or not there is an effect of snowball throwing type cooperative learning method on mathematical communication skills of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. This type of research is a pseudo experiment. The research samples were VII-5 and VII-8 classes totaling 40 students. The data collection technique used is an essay-shaped test of 5 questions that have been tested with pretest and posttest reliability using the Cronbach's alpha formula in the spss application with a significant level of 5% and n = 20 which is then compared to the r table obtained a value of 0.444. It turns out that rcount> rtabel is (0.608>0.444) for the pretest and (0.556>0.444) for the posttest. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The pretest results of the average value of the experimental and control classes were 63.8 and 64.05, respectively. For the posttest results, the average value of the experimental class was 82.75 and the control class was 75.65. The normality test of the pretest and posttest of the experimental and control classes has sig>0.05 and the homogeneity test of the significant value is above 0.05 or sig>0.05, so the experimental class and control class have homogeneous data conditions. For the hypothesis test, a significant value of 0.039 or 0.039 <0.05 was obtained. <p><em>This study aims to determine students' conceptual understanding after using audio-visual media on the topic of integer operations, using five indicators of mathematical conceptual understanding in Class VII 3 at SMP N 7 Padangsidimpuan. This research is qualitative in nature. The data in this study were obtained from direct observations, interviews with teachers, and interviews with students. After the data were collected, they were analyzed using three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion drawing. Data validity was checked using data source triangulation. The subjects of this study were two Class VII teachers and 26 students from Class VII 3. The results of this study show that after learning using audio-visual media, some students experienced an improvement in their conceptual understanding. This improvement was observed across all indicators of conceptual understanding. <p><em>The research method used is classroom action research utilizing two cycles conducted in the second semester with the material of Geometry and Spatial Structures using the Project-Based Learning approach. The sample in this study is students in class VIII^1 at SMP Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan, totaling 32 students. The results of the study indicate that the interest in learning Mathematics through the Project-Based Learning method among grade VIII^1 students at SMP Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan in the 2023/2024 academic year increased. This can be seen from the increase in the average initial test score of 57.34%. The students’ learning interest test scores in cycle I meeting I were 66.6 and in meeting II were 80 with an average score of 73.3%. In cycle II meeting III, the students’ learning interest test scores were 86.6 and in meeting IV were 100 with an average score of 93.3%. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher’s observations in cycle I meeting I were 66.6 and in meeting II were 79.1 with an average score of 72.85.
