PEYORASI DAN AMELIORASI BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM SURAT KABAR

Abstract

Language is unique, as long as humans exist and the age continues to grow, then the language will undergo changes.

In writing this journal, will be discussed about the analysis of the meaning of amelioration (meaning positive) and the meaning of peyorasi (negative meaning), in the example: helper, in the past if we hear the word helper, then we know what is meant is the person who helps and people would be very proud to introduce himself as a presidential aide (amelioration). But at this time the helper means household attendant, or more roughly babu (peyorasi).
