Pemberian Beberapa Pupuk Organik terhadap Sifat Fisika dan Kimia Tanah Tanaman Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.)
Abstract
The use of chemical fertilizers so far turned out to have an adverse effect on sustainability. In addition, if viewed in terms of price, Chemical fertilizers are relatively more expensive than organic fertilizers. Therefore it is necessary to optimize organic fertilizers which are proven to be environmentally friendly and at affordable prices. Efforts to overcome these problems are by providing organic fertilizers such as bokashi fertilizer which can fertilize plants and can increase plant growth and production. Bokashi fertilizer is one of the best and natural soil enhancers in artificial remediation materials. In general, bokashi fertilizers contain relatively low N, P and K macro nutrients, but it contains relatively sufficient micro nutrients needed by plants for growth. This research is a survey method and Purposive sampling followed by soil testing in the laboratory with the following stages: : (a) analysis of experimental soil samples at the Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University, (b) interview. Giving organic material in the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer can increase the content of C-organic soil with a value of 5,12. While the treatment of solid organic fertilizer can increase the average value of soil organic C content by 12,35. Giving organic material in the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer can increase the soil B-organic content with a value of 8.88. While the treatment of solid organic fertilizer can increase the average value of soil organic B content by 21,30. Giving organic matter provides an increase in the capacity of available water in the soil. In the treatment of solid compost it produces a high capacity of available water (15,47) on clay-coated clay. Giving organic material in the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer can increase the content of soil organic C with a value of 3,15. The results of laboratory analysis found that the addition of organic matter cannot change the chemical properties of N-total on the soil, there is no difference in the total N-value for the treatment of organic matter. The results of laboratory analysis of the sample found that by adding organic matter can reduce P-retention from 93,9 to reach 12,62 (liquid organic fertilizer). The results of laboratory analysis with two samples found that by adding liquid organic fertilizer can reduce the pH of H2O from 6,25 to reach 6,12. Giving organic matter to the treatment of solid organic fertilizer can increase the average value of soil organic C content by 12,35. The results of laboratory analysis found that the addition of organic matter cannot change the chemical properties of N-total on the soil, there is no difference in the total N-value of the treatment of solid organic fertilizer. The results of laboratory analysis found that by adding solid organic fertilizer can reduce P-Retention from 93.9 to 19,61. The results of laboratory analysis with the addition of solid organic fertilizer can change the pH value to 3,52.
