Penerapan Model Tipe Talking Stick Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Fisika Siswa MTS Al-Hidayah SU
Abstract
This research was motivated by the problem of students low understanding of physics concepts in physics learning at Mts-Alhidayah . The conclusion of this research is that students understanding of physics concepts taught by implementing the talking stick type cooperative learning model is better than the direct teaching model on movement material in class VIII Mts –Alhidayah SU 2023/2024. In addition, descriptive data analysis was used to observe student activity and student answer patterns. Observation result showed that the activity level of students in the experimental class was 75.81 % with good qualifications , while in the control class it was 67,81% with sufficient qualifications. The pattern of answers from students in the experimental class was better than that of the control class. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested to apply the talking stick type of cooperative learning model.
