Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based instruction learning model on the physics science process skills of class X Mas Darul Ikhlas Padangsidimpuan. This research is quasi experiment. This research was conducted in Mas Darul Ikhlas class X1 which amounted to 11 people and class X2 amounted to 12 people. This research instrument uses the KPS test that has been valid and reliable. The result of the calculation of the control class and experimental class hypotesis test on the posttest question thitung = 2,742 > 2,080 = ttabel so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the PBI learning model on students physics science process skills.
