DALIHAN NA TOLU DALAM PERSPEKTIF SOSIAL

Abstract

This study uses qualitative methods, namely by collecting as much data as possible for later processing into research results. Therefore data processing through Phenomenology techniques. Close family solidarity between one clan with another clan seemed so familiar. All of them can firmly apply a kind of life order that has a high value. Formal or informal nature of kinship based on Dalihan Na Tolu. Therefore it is not clear if it is said that Dalihan Na Tolu and its nature which confirms the making of the Batak tribe. The traits of mutual cooperation are also seen in the Batak people who live in the city despite little results from modernization. Nereka remains motivated to unite according to Dalihan Na Tolu, accepting adat according to her position in Dalihan Na Tolu. Dalihan Na Tolu is an ancestral book for the Batak tribe. So firm is the principle that binds the individual mind of every Batak person with Dalihan Na Tolu. Thus the Batak tribe both individually and in groups still base on that philosophy from the beginning to the present. As the saying says that Dalihan Na Tolu is timelessly hot and not rained by rain.
