Abstract

This study aims to determine increasing learning outcomes mathematics students of class I SD 158498 Aek Tolang Tapanuli Tengah before and after thematic learning model applied. This research is a class act consisting of two cycles. The study population was all students of class I SD 158498 Aek Tolang Tapanuli Tengah the academic year 2019/2020. Sample selection is done by cluster random class. Samples taken are one class and taught by thematic learning model. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice and observation. From the results of data analysis pretest as a result of early learning students showed that students who scored ≥ 75 are as many as 9 people with learning completeness percentage of 40.00%. On the implementation of the first cycle of students who scored ≥75 are as many as 14 people with learning completeness percentage of 70.00%. On the implementation of the second cycle students who received grades ≥ 75 is 18 people with learning completeness percentage of 90.00%. The results showed an increasing learning outcomes mathematics students with application of thematic learning model in class I SD 158498 Aek Tolang Tapanuli Tengah.
