Abstract

The background to the problem in this research is that students' listening skills are still lacking, the learning media used by teachers is less creative. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of digital fairy tales in improving the listening skills of class II students. The type of research used is PTK. using a descriptive method consisting of two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was carried out at SD Negeri 1501 Hurung Jilok. while the data analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative, Based on the research, it can be concluded that the listening skills of class II students are low, namely 2 students have very good listening skills. In cycle I, the effectiveness of digital storytelling to improve students' listening skills had begun to increase, namely 5 students had very good listening skills. Meanwhile in cycle II that the effectiveness of digital storytelling in improving students' listening skills is very effective, proven by the increase in students' listening skills from the previous cycle, namely 14 students' listening skills were "very good." Based on research results, the effectiveness of digital fairy tales can improve the listening skills of class II students at SD Negeri 1501 Hurung Jilok.
