PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PAPAN PECAHAN TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI 1404
The background to the problem in this research is: Lack of student involvement in the learning process, Teachers tend to still use conventional learning with the lecture method, Teachers use less media in the learning process The aim of this research is to determine the use of fraction board media on interest in learning mathematics about fractions. The type of research used in this research is PTK. Namely field research using a descriptive method which consists of two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was carried out at SDN 1404 Batang Sosa. Data collection techniques in this research were obtained through observation sheets of students' learning interests, while the data analysis techniques were qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the fraction board media is very effective in increasing interest in learning mathematics about fractions in class III students at SD Negeri 1404 Batang Sosa, Ulu Sosa District, as evidenced by the increase in students' interest in learning in each cycle which increases significantly. This starts from the pre-cycle with a percentage of 49.25%. Meanwhile in cycle I the percentage was 63.5%. In cycle II the percentage of success reached 80.5%. Based on the results of the action, interest in learning mathematics about fractions in cycle II with the application of fraction board media has increased.
