PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN INTELLIGENCE MAPPING PRESENTATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the application of the Intelligence Mapping Presentation learning strategy to improve students' critical thinking skills in natural science subjects on environmental change in class V SD Negeri 1301 Hasahatan. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) field research using descriptive methods consisting of 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in Class V SD Negeri 1301 Hasahatan, data collection techniques in this study were obtained through written tests, and data analysis techniques in this study were qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of research on the application of the Intelligence Mapping Presentation learning strategy to improve students' critical thinking skills in natural science subjects on environmental change in class V SD Negeri 1301 Hasahatan, namely in the Pre-Cycle the class average is 58% with a total of 7 students completing with a total average percentage of 38%. In Cycle I there was an increase, with the class average being 65% with the number of students who completed as many as 10 students with a total average percentage of 55%. Furthermore, in Cycle II there was also an increase, where the class average was 72.83% with a total of 15 students who completed the class with a total average percentage of 77%. Furthermore, student learning outcomes also experienced an increase in Cycle III, namely the class average was 81.38% with the number of students who completed as many as 18 students with a total average percentage of 100%. So, it can be concluded that the Intelligence Mapping Presentation learning strategy can improve students' critical thinking skills in science subjects on environmental change in class V SD Negeri 1301 Hasahatan, Barumun Baru District, Padang Lawas Regency.
