PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE
Abstract
The students' achievement of SMK Negeri I Barumun Padanglawas are not satisfied yet. Based on the experiences, the students still have problems in comprehending the concepts and solving the problems related to equality linear system and inequality in one variable. This research aimed at increasing the studentso activity, comprehending the concepts and ability in solving Math problems through Think Pair Share leaming on the Equality Linear System and Inequality in One Variable material.This research was class action research which applied three cycles. Subject of this research is the students of grade X with the population about 32 students. The data on this research was collected by using observation sheet and math ability test. Techniques of analyzing the data were descriptive analysis.The outcome of this research showed that learning by using Think Pair Share approach on equality linem system and inequality in one variable can improve the students' activity and achievement at grade X of SMK Negeri I Barumun. The students' activities were took note/make conclusion in group discussion, and done relevant activities reaching very well category. The students' aotivities were took important note basd on the learning material, asked questions to the teacher, asked/gave explanation to their friends in group. The students' activities in giving respondlanswering/giving comments. The average score of students' achievement in comprehending the concepts reached 77,96 % and the ability in solving the protlems reached 75,21%. While the students' who have reached the criteria minimum mastery to comprehend the concept was about 96,88% and solving the problem was about 93,75%.
