PENGUATAN KARAKTER CINTA TANAH AIR SISWA KELAS IV SDN WASUR 2 MERAUKE

Abstract

This study intends to describe the strengthening of the character of patriotism in fourth grade students of SDN Wasur 2 Merauke. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, conducted at SDN Wasur 2 Merauke. Techniques and instruments of data collection through interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses source triangulation and member check. The results showed that the strengthening of the character of love for the homeland for fourth grade students at SDN Wasur 2 Merauke was seen from the sense of awe over Indonesia's geographical location (sea and air). This can be seen from the videos made by students when they are in tourist areas around students' homes. The videos made by the students were collected to the class teacher and included in the grades of the students' assignments. Fourth grade students of SDN Wasur 2 Merauke also have a sense of awe at the richness of culture, ethnicity, ethnicity, and the Indonesian language. This can be seen from the active use of Indonesian by all students. Students are in awe of the ocean's contribution and its results to the world. This is evidenced by the work of students by utilizing shells into objects of economic value. Students are amazed at the role of Indonesia's forests for the world. This is evidenced by the real actions of students planting plants in the home environment.
