       This research method is a quantitative research. Quantitative approach is an approach that emphasizes testingtheories through measuring reswarch variables in number andcarrying out data analysis using static procedures and systematic modeling. to support the success of this research the object of research is the analysis of rice production factorsin manunggang julu village, padangsidimpuan southeast district. In compiling this type of quantitative reseacht, the data usedby the reseacht are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from direct interview with rice farmers question that had been prepared bofere according to what would be the research.while secondary data is data obtained from notes or other notes that have existed before and is processed and then presebted in the form of text.
