Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to detemine health aducation and income per capitaon the level of poverty in the city of padangsidimpuan. The method of this reseach approch is quantitative using secondary data obtained from the statistical center of the city of padangsidmpuan population and the sample of this study is education. Health, percapita income and poverty in padangsimpuan city from 2014 to 2018. The data collection technique used is documentation technique so that no sampling and questionnaire techniques are needed. Thre data analysis tools of this research are multiple linearregression, partial test, and simultanepus test.

From the results of data analysis, it was found that education, health, per capita incom had a negative effect on poverty in padangsidimpuan city. With the respective regreeion coefficient -0.016 and -0.193. this means that when there is an increase in health of 1 % education in padangsidimpuan city will decrease by 1.6 and 19.3 % respectively. The independent variables of education of education, health, income percapita and education together hove an effect on the depent variable of poverty in padangsidimpuan city. Influeence on education, health, income per pakita and poverty in padangsidimpuan city is 78.4 % or 78.4 % while the remaining 21.6 % is explained by other variables outside this reseaech model.
