Various efforts have been made by the government to reduce poverty, one of which is through the Family Planning Village program. Policy implementation is a very important defense in the overall policy structure. With the planning of the Family Planning Village Program, it is expected to bring a solution in controlling the rate of population growth. In the end, a small, prosperous, and quality family will be realized. Thus the poverty rate can be reduced. Based on this brief description, it can be seen that the purpose of this study is to find out whether the implementation of the KB village program has the potential to overcome poor families in Pudun Jae Village. This study uses a qualitative method, namely research based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is the instrument.The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews with informants and field observations. Furthermore, the informants in this study were the sub-district head, the head and staff of the UPT KB, the village head and the target families of the KB village program. Where the data analysis method uses qualitative analysis using the Miles Iluberman model, namely data analysis that makes data reduction / data reduction activities, data display / data presentation, and conclusions / conclusions.Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the implementation of the Kampung KB Program has a positive influence on the economy of the target family and its ability to fulfill the needs of household members with the category of prosperous family II. The village KB program has the potential to reduce poverty by reducing family fertility, which affects the economic capacity of meeting family needs. It can also be seen that through the Kampung KB program, they provide economic empowerment and training in family financial management.Thus, the implementation of the KB village program has the potential to overcome poor families in Pudun Jae Village, Padangsidimpuan District, Batunadua.Keywords: KB Village Program, Poverty Alleviation.
