Economic growth is one of the main elements in achieving economic development, although it is realized that the development process is not only determined by economic factors such as natural resources, capital accumulation, organization, technological progress, work development and production scale but also non-economic factors such as social factors. , human factors, political and administrative factors.The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of local government spending, education level, and total industrial value added in South Tapanuli and Langkat districts using 2015-2019 timescale data with the OLS method. The results of the estimation of time series data using the Ordinary Lest Square (OLS) model indicate that local government spending, education level, and total industrial value added have a positive influence on economic growth in the city of Padangsidimpuan and Mandailing Natal district. Keywords: economic growth, local government spending, level of education total value added industry.
