Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' problem solving problems by using an advanced organizer model based on virtual laboratories better than using conventional learning. The study was conducted in an experimental study, the population of this study were students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. The sample selection is done by Purpose sampling. This research instrument uses a valid and reliable problem solving ability test. The data in this study were analyzed by t test. The results showed that there were results of problem solving research using virtual laboratory-based advance organizer learning, this can be seen student learning outcomes increased from 41,83 to 77,57. Student learning conversations using an advanced organizer learning model based on virtual laboratories are better than conventional learning
