Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe (1) The form of religious character of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an through the full day school system, (2) The role of teachers in shaping the religious character of students through the full day school program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an, (3) Obstacles and Teacher Support in the Full Day School Program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an. This research is a research using a qualitative research approach with a type of case study research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation. Data is analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Test the validity of data using source triangulation, method triangulation and theory triangulation.The results showed that, (1) the form of religious character of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an through the full day school program in the form of smiles, greetings, greetings, habituation to always be honest and protect the environment and activities such as tahfidz, tahsin, congregational prayer are all through habituation and clear and directed methods (2) the role of teachers in shaping the religious character of students through the full day school program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an includes teachers as models or exemplary examples in the implementation of activities in shaping religious character such as congregational prayers, guiding in the Qur'an, tahfidz, Admonition, and other activities that can shape religious character. The role of the teacher as an advisor that contains motivation and guidance to students to remember the teacher is a substitute for parents at home. (3) Obstacles and Teacher Support in the Full Day School Program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an, inhibiting factors are: Lack of teachers in accordance with the minimum memorization criteria of 10 Juz that have been set as requirements for teaching at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an, Lack of facilities and infrastructure such as special rooms for student beds, Lack of other supporting facilities such as sound systems,  Lack of children's play facilities, Lack of parental support in implementing the fulll day school system in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an. Teacher support in the implementation of the full day school system in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an is: Every teacher must have memorized at least 10 Juz before being able to enter teaching at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an, Teachers who enter the school must be tested for fluency in reading the surah Al-Qur'an, The school area is not too crowded so that teachers can be younger in managing student activities, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an School teaches students for free without any charge except for the student's personal fee,  and Good facilities and infrastructure so that they can support the learning system in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tahfizh Saqu Ahlul Qur'an.
