ANALISIS PERAN KARANG TARUNA DALAM MEWUJUDKAN TANGGUNG JAWAB SOSIAL DI DESA KAMPUNG PADANG KECAMATAN PANGKATAN KABUPATEN LABUHANBATU

Abstract

Youth is a generation whose shoulders are burdened with various expectations, especially from other generations. The young generation is the nation's asset, but many of the youth currently lack a sense of social responsibility within themselves. Apart from education, youth's sense of responsibility can be realized through organizations, one of which is Karang Taruna as a youth-based social organization that has an important message in realizing youth social responsibility. The problems in this study 1) The role of Youth Organizations on social responsibility in Kampung Padang Village, 2) Strengthening social responsibility attitudes of youth in the Youth Organization organization. This study uses a field qualitative approach (flied research), data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study amounted to 18 people. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative with the following stages of data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it was found that the Karang Taruna Kampung Padang lacked responsibility and strengthening social attitudes so that Karang Taruna youths lacked respect for the time and tasks planned and from the Kampung Padang village government the lack of attention to Karang Taruna.
